    It sounds to me like Opie had convinced himself that it was real and was embarrassed that the others almost immediately called bullshit.

    @johnclavis This is basically it. Its real, they just cut it together with massive editing to make it look half way decent. Several stories confirming it to be real on the web, so easy to find.

    Its real btw, its from russia and its a huge thing over there. Google "bears playing hockey" it and the first couple of results say its real. The very video they are looking at.
